Sturbridge posts 15 property transfers as pricing data lags for most
Sturbridge recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but sale prices had posted for only four as of this report. Prices ranged from $100,000 to $486,000, with a median of $137,500. The period's top recorded sale was 238 Walker Rd at $486,000, sold by David S. Kida and Emily R. Sevigne to Monson Savings Bank. Cedar Street and Westwood Drive each saw two transfers. Banks appeared as buyers in most of the priced sales, and several unpriced transfers involved mortgage-related entities or town conservation land. With most prices still pending, the data does not yet support a read on overall market pace.
