Worcester County recorded seven property transfers in Sturbridge between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only one deed disclosed a sale price: $288,000, for a parcel sold by Cheryl A. Rennie to Operative Bank. The other six, at Walker Pond Road (two deeds), Valley Road, Fiske Hill Road, Charlton Road, and Leadmine Road, closed without a listed consideration amount. One notable pattern: two same-day deeds at 136 Walker Pond Road show a change in trustee arrangement among Dumas family members. With price data available for just one of seven sales, the records don't support a read on whether the local market strengthened, weakened, or held steady this period.
