Bank Transfers Dominate Sturbridge Deed Recordings as Two Sales Disclose Prices

Sturbridge recorded 13 property deeds between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only two disclosed a sale price, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds records. Prices ranged from $25,000 (16 Charlton St.) to $267,000 (address unspecified), with a median of $146,000 across the two disclosed sales. The month's most notable transaction was the $267,000 sale, involving a trust as seller. At least eight of the 13 recorded deeds listed a bank, mortgage servicer or MERS as grantor or grantee, and no two sales shared a street name. Limited price disclosure prevents a fuller market read for the period.
